Binary sowings as a basis for the intensification of fodder production industry
(Збірник наукових праць Уманського НУС, 2020) Demydas, H.; Poltoretskyi, S.; Burko, L.; Veiler, S.
In the article analytical literature review of Ukrainian and world best practices on common vetch growing in binary sowings was conducted. Scientific publications of domestic and foreign scientists on the significance of binary crops in fodder production, selection of crops for joint cultivation were analyzed. The generalization and systematization of the studied material was carried out. Purpose of the research was to conduct an analytical literature review of Ukrainian and world best practices on common vetch growing in binary crops. General scientific methods, in particular, the following: hypothesis, observation, analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction, abstraction and generalization were used during the research. Own observations and literature sources from the chosen field of research were the uased in the material. Scientific publications of domestic and foreign scientists on the significancy of binary crops in fodder production, selection of crops for joint growing were analyzed to achieve this purpose. Generalization and systematization of the studied in tha research material was carried out. Conclusions. It was found that common vetch is mainly cultivated in mixtures with spring cereals. This crop can be grown for both spring and summer sowing in topping and post-harvest sowings with oats, barley, Sudan grass and other spring cereal crops; for hay and seeds — in arid conditions with a continental climate. However, seed yields in such regions are very low and vary considerably depending on the amount and distribution of spring rains. Providing of livestock production with high-quality fodders due to legume-and-cereal mixtures of annual crops makes it possible to expand the range of fodders in the diets of ruminants in the stall period

BIOLOGICAL PECULIARITIES OF FORMATION AND CAUSES OF HETEROGENEITY OF MILLET SEEDS
    (Умань: Видавничо-поліграфічний центр "Візаві", 2021-03) Bilonozhko, V.; Poltoretskyi, S.; Yatsenko, A.; Poltoretska, N.; Berezovskyi, A.
Features of biology and morphology of seeds and millet plants determine the significant heterogeneity of its seed material. Knowledge and understanding of these features, as well as physiological processes occurring in seeds and plants, will optimize conditions of agricultural technology of millet crops. Full seeds have better optimized metabolism and significant reserves provide more vigorous germination. Under unfavorable conditions for longer periods of time, plants developing from such seeds do not have autotrophic feed and in the future ensure not only the maximum yield but also seeds of better quality.

(Belarus. Minsk. Modern scientific researches, 2020) Voitsekhivskyi, V.; Yudina, A.; Poltoretskyi, S.; Orlovskiy, N.; Gayday, А.; Muliarchuk, O.; Tkachuk, V.
This article provides a detailed analysis of the profitability of growing different grain crops in the Steppe zone of Ukraine. It was found that the average profitability on the studied farm is 94,5%. The highest profitability was observed when growing grain corn, soybeans, rape and sunflower over 100%

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS OF FORMATION OF YIELD AND QUALITY OF MILLET SEEDS
    (Умань: Видавничо-поліграфічний центр "Візаві", 2021-03) Bilonozhko, V.; Poltoretskyi, S.; Yatsenko, A.; Poltoretska, N.; Berezovskyi, A.
The formation and development of millet seeds does not occur at the same time, respectively, and the availability of its nutrients is also uneven. This level is associated with the intensity of photosynthesis and the supply of mineral nutrients, which, in turn, are determined by the conditions of the external environment. The establishment of the relationship between these conditions and corresponding quality indicators of seeds is not only of scientific interest, because morphological, physiological and biochemical properties influence the seed quality of the seed material.

Fodder productivity of meadow clover varieties depending on the growing technology
    (Ukrainian Journal of Ecology, 2021) Demydas, H.; Galushko, I.; Poltoretskyi, S.; Novak, A.; Liubych, V.; Poltoretska, N.
The research results for 2018–2020 on the formation of fodder productivity of the yield of the dry mass of different varieties of meadow clover from 1 ha depending on the sowing methods on different backgrounds of fertilizer on typical low-humus chernozems of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine were presented. On average, for the first three years of growth and use, meadow clover provided productivity of yield of the dry mass of 8.22–9.88 tons from 1 ha, which depended little on sowing methods. Productivity increased by 8–12 % when inoculating seed with nodule bacteria combined with the application of N60P60K90 compared with the variant without fertilizers and only by 4–6 % under separate application of fertilizers (Р60K90 or N60P60K90) or seeds inoculation on the background without fertilizers. The application of N60 on the background of Р60K90 provided the highest payback of 1 kg of fertilizer (6–7 kg of dry mass) among fertilizers. In the first year, sowing under cover of spring barley provided higher productivity by 22–25 %, and in the second and third years, coverless sowing was provided by 7–10 %. The most productive variety was Taifun, which was 0.10–0.66 t/ha of dry mass superior to Lybid and Tina varieties. The factor of fertilization was the most influential in yield of dry mass from 1 ha and the sowing method with a share proportion of 55 % in the first year. Meadow clover annually provided three mowings of fodder biomass with the share of the first mowing of 44–50 %, the second – 32–34 %, and the third – 18–24 %, and the uneven distribution of the yield by mowing by 30–47 %

Influence of agrotechnical factors on the resistance of winter triticale plants to overwintering
(Belarus. Minsk. Modern scientific researches, 2020) Svystunova, I.; Poltoretskyi, S.; Khudolii, L.; Denisyuk, V.; Voitsekhivska, O.
The article presents the results of studying the main indicators of corn grain quality of three hybrids grown in the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, and analyzes the relationship between them using correlation analysis. It is established that the nature of the grain affects its germination, and with increasing protein content in the grain increases its moisture content and decreases the starch content

The influence of sowing time on the growth and development of winter crops in the autumn period
(Modern engineering and innovative technologies. Karlsruhe, Germany, 2020) Svystunova, I.; Poltoretskyi, S.; Voitsekhіvska, O.; Baranovskyi, O.
This article considers the influence of sowing dates of winter crops on their growth and development during the autumn growing season. It is established that the shift of calendar dates of sowing significantly affects the morphological parameters of plants before the end of autumn vegetation. The significance of such differences is determined by weather conditions and biological characteristics of the variety and species. The shift of sowing dates towards the early ones causes an increase in the number of shoots, plant height, number of nodal roots and mass of raw above-ground mass. During sowing in October, the plants lag far behind both in stage development and in the parameters of phytometric parameters

Time of access of green mass triticale in winter depending on the variety and seeding time
    (Bolgary. Svishtov. SWorldJournal, 2020) Svystunova, I.; Poltoretskyi, S.; Khudolii, L.; Rak, O.; Voitsekhivskа, O.; Rebezov, M.
This article considers the influence of sowing dates and biological features of the variety rates of phenological development of triticale plants. It was found that among the studied varieties, the earing phase occurs earlier in varieties AD 3/5, AD 44 and ADM 9, which are characterized by fast passage of the interphase tube-earing period for 17 – 19 days, depending on the sowing period. In the late-ripening variety Polisky 29 this period lasts 23,0 – 24,7 days
